Didn't Pokemon come out in the US in 1998/1999? If so then that show on VH1 (I Love the 90's) is wrong. They said it came out in 1997

I read about Spongebob and stuff over at wikipedia. I guess that explains it. I probably did see it in 5th grade, but didn't really like it. For some reason I'm reminded of Cartoon Network and how they used to have this Movie time every Sunday. then they'd have this Cartoon Cartoon thing I think every Saturday. And then Toonami! Ahh...

Pokemon came out in 1996 in Japan. That's why it's 10 this year. You know how Japan always gives us things 6 months to so many years later. xp I miss those days on Cartoon Network! Toonami was an after-shcool priority! I miss Sailor Moon and Gundam Wing! *cries*
