stuff. Reality is starting to settle in my mind. A lot of people left last week, and it's a weird feeling. I keep saying that it's weird that I'm going to be a senior because I feel that there's another grade that's older in highschool. I remember having gas on the first day of school in ninth grade. I remember exactly what I was thinking. I remember panicking about nto being able to find my classes because I wasn't at the orientation day, since I had to watch over the kids and my cousin's grandma passed. I remember not continuing volleyball, and thinking that I wouldn't be able to keep up my sanity. I remember being happy that I was actually first chair in my first high school winter concert, and the woman who was making the programs messed up and put someone else as first chair. all of these things. So I have my permit which is nice. I'm gonna go driving tomorrow. yea! Look out road and pedestrians. Yeah it scares me. As we were leaving Island 16 (movie theater) and about to enter the highway, there were these cars in the way, so we couldn't head for Stony Brook. The cars behind us kept honking their horns to tell us to hurry up. How can we hurry up? The only lane available is the one towards Blue Point, and we're not going there. that's like the opposite way to Pt. Jeff (vertical-wise). So I'm scared that people are going to honk their horns at me, which will provoke me into rushing and going into the car-filled lane which will launch me into a car accident. I mean, when I begin to doubt myself, sometimes I really doubt myself. I just half to keep a clear mind. If I know where I have to go, and people honk for me to go, I have to just keep cool and wait. I'm not ready for school. Mentally anyway.

you have to set your mind to react differently when you're driving. Like, instead of thrashing your head about to an awesome song playing on the radio, you have to keep your head in operational condition so you can pay attention to what's going on and not run into anything.

And stuff like that.
