Well I'll announce it now. I am not obsessed with Final Fantasy anymore. Yeah it's kind of weird. I guess after the whole Final Fantasy X-2 deal I started to drift away from the series. Final Fantasy X-2 could have been better, but they pretty much used sex appeal. Final Fantasy XI came out but it turned into this whole online game thing. Final Fantasy XII disposed of the summons alumni (Shiva, Ifrit, Ramuh, Leviathan, etc) and it apparently was not that great.

I blame the whole "Squaresoft + Enix = Squenix" deal. Don't get me wrong. I loved the games that Enix had but when these two combined, they killed the whole Final Fantasy franchise.

There was all of this uproar with Final Fantasy VII. There was Advent Children, Dirge of Cerberus, and some cell phone stuff. I fell asleep during Advent Children (haha).

I guess too much of a good thing is a bad thing or something. Well that's my whole thing... I'm not much of a fan of Final Fantasy anymore. It's weird that it took me ten years to get over it. Whatever... It's going down into the sewers. Just imagine if the series stopped at 30? It'd be Final Fantasy XXX. Oh God, that's disturbing.

So, wait..
You didn't actually play FFXII? I say play it before dismissing the FF series as a whole.

Squeenix didn't put out FF X-2, by the way. I kind of liked that game... FF games have used sex appeal over the past two console generations but it's easier to make a distinction now because the main characters are female.

I dunno. My favorite game is still FF IX

I know I will probably be brought to shame for this
But I have never played an FF game before in my life. Never ever. The only thing I know is that Sephiroth was from them, and that there are a whole bunch of noobs running around with his name. It's in EVERY game. Sephiroth007, Sephir0th, Sephirothstrikes...it's ridiculous. That's about all the legacy FF has left me -_-

If by chance I do decide to become more accepted in the gaming world, which FF would you recommend, besides IX
