I know what you mean by goal vs resolution.
new year's goals make so much more sense than new year's resolutions. especially the part where most of us don't get around to actually doing much about them after about a month or two into the year.
I've always liked the concept of having a goal so much better than having a resolution. Everyone has "resolutions" and break them all the time. Fewer have true goals, and having a goal seems like your efforts are worth more because the phrase "new year's resolution" is so over-used...
